How to adopt an evening ritual for sleep
We spend up to a third of our life sleeping!
The problem is sometimes we take it for granted.
We stay up later than usual on the phone, working, drinking, eating, watching trash TV, and then it’s challenging to either fall asleep or wake up the next day.
Waking up tired is a good sign that you are not getting enough sleep.
It is time for an intervention.
The power of a nighttime routine.
Our brains love patterns. We’re habitual creatures by nature.
What is your nighttime routine?
Here is mine lately.
- Stop working most nights by 6 PM
- Crank the AC down to 67 degrees
- Sauna for 45 mins
- Shower
- Watch the sunset
- Turn my phone on airplane mode
- Make a to-do list for the next day
- Stretch for 5 minutes
- Take my supplements
- Read or journal
- Eye Mask
- Turn on the white noise machine
- Fall asleep
Each action has a benefit and purpose. These habits were implemented one action at a time over time to optimize my sleep.
There are a few luxuries I enjoy at night. I even bring these things with me when I travel.

- This is a total game-changer if you are a light sleeper
Face Mask – https://amzn.to/3hk6oyb
- I use a silk eye mask to block out all of the light
Silk Pillow Case – https://amzn.to/3fOHfLL
- For wrinkle prevention, since I sleep like a skydiver
This week, give your routine a good audit!
Is there anything you can change, add, or remove to help improve your sleep?
Sleep is the closest thing to a magic pill.
Sleep will keep you young and thriving.
Avoiding sleep or ignoring your fatigue will age your body faster than anything else. Trust me on this one.
Everything in life is better well-rested.
Imagine what you could achieve with the power of good natural energy!
