I’ve been traveling for three straight weeks.
My November journeys took me to the mountains of Colorado, the coast of Florida, and up north to the Midwest.
I love to travel but here is what happens:
- I end up walking a lot more and lifting a lot less
- I usually eat way more food in a day than at home
- I eat a lot of foods I normally don’t eat (like cheese)
- I consume way more alcohol
- I end up sitting a lottttttt (airplanes and cars)
Staying on a routine is a huge challenge.
Today I landed back in Austin.
My day looks like this:
- 6:30 AM Wake up
- 7 – 8 AM Drive to airport
- 8:55 AM Flight
- 11:30 AM Arrive in Austin
- 12PM Consultation
- 1 PM Client Call
- 2 PM Client Call
- 3 PM Client Call
- 3:45 PM Consultation
- 4:30 PM Consultation
- 5:30 PM Gym
- 8 PM Sauna
Where do I find time to grocery shop?
Guess what?
I won’t, but after being lax about everything for weeks I must hop right back into my normal lifestyle.
It’s a hell of a lot easier to “start tomorrow,” but the reality is, it’s 2020 and we have food at our fingertips!
Sticking to routine while traveling with Meal Delivery
This is where meal delivery services like Snap Kitchen and Trifecta come to save the day!
This is how you don’t stay off the wagon while traveling.
You have to start immediately when you get home!
Pre-order your meals ahead of time and don’t let the excuse of not having food keep delaying your focus.
Pre-order what you need and have it delivered (or ready for pickup) the moment you arrive back from your trip.
This isn’t just a good tip for travelers; but ANYONE on the go!
Truth – I have clients who don’t ever touch a pan, a stove, or a sponge at all because of their lifestyle or lack of desire to cook. It can be done thanks to companies like Trifecta!
I like Trifecta because they focus on the QUALITY of their food. The pricing is great too when compared to how much you would spend at a restaurant.
I hope this helps you stay on track and get back on track!
